Roman Markov
Roman Markov was born in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, in 1979. He studied Fine Arts and Painting, graduating with a specialization in Art Education. In 2002, he settled in the Algarve, Portugal, a region that has profoundly influenced both his artistic development and aesthetic vision.
His work draws inspiration from the landscapes, architecture, and people encountered throughout his travels, translated into a pictorial language characterized by strong visual sensitivity and refined technical skill. Recognized for his oil paintings and realistic approach, he has regularly participated in solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and Spain.
